We build unique, energy efficient, single family homes along the award-winning METRORail in Houston’s Near Northside. Our vision is anchored by four central tenets: Site-plan, Transit-Oriented Development, Design, and Energy Efficiency/Sustainable Development.

Site-plan

  • Our homes, through the responsible use of downtown-Houston sites, not only do their part to promote a healthy water cycle, create more green areas in the neighborhood, and cut down on urban heat, but also ultimately provide you with more space and privacy. It’s a win-win-win-win.
  • All of the homes we build at Revolution Homes are done so on infill lots, meaning we are developing unused or underused land in already developed areas. And we always do our utmost to innovate and improve the distinctive character of the neighborhoods in which we build.
  • Our homes have significant yard space whether a back-, side-, or front yard. This decreases our homes’ footprints and bolsters green spaces in the area. And on top of this we always make it a priority to position our dwellings for easy rail-and-trail access.
  • As if the the top two points didn’t make our homes unique enough in downtown Houston, all of our homes have their own private driveway with no common elements, so you’re getting the best of all worlds.

Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development 

  • Our model is more sustainable and more environmentally-friendly than most of the competition without pricing the customer out of the market. “Building green” entails more than simply the actual construction of the home; it’s also what goes into the home — and we’re doing so much more on that front than the competition: We offer low-e Milgard casement windows, tankless water heaters, cellulose insulation, bamboo and local hardwood flooring, low VOC paints and building materials, smart thermostats and energy-efficient appliances.
